Outdoor Air Quality Sensor Housing

Outdoor Air Quality Sensor Housing

This is an Outdoor Case for a 9 x 15 cm prototype PCB / Sourcing Map with sensors. I use it for an Air Quality Sensor Project to monitor a few values on the balcony. - I notice that the distances to the holes at the corners of the available boards are different depending on the model. Therefore, there is a square contact surface. If necessary, glue it down. - There is still a gap in the wall on the long sides of the floor. These are used for the USB connections that extend beyond the PCB. - Moreover, there are two holes in the roof of the housing for the cables of the 10.5 x 6.5 cm solar panels mounted on it. I added some mm to be sure to have enough space on the printed object to insert the panels. - In addition, there are holes on the side, which I use to tie the housing to a railing with cable ties. There is more space as i needed. But i want to have space for more sensors i will add in future. Perhaps it is generally suitable for use as a weather station or with corresponding sensors. It is my first self-created 3D model. So it's not perfect. For example, the orientation must still be set so that the roof lies flat on the print bed. But this can easily be done in the slicer. I will probably make some changes to the model to improve it. Depending on how much it's good for. But maybe it's a useful object for someone else too.
