Outdoor 10w LED padio light
thingiverse
I decided to save on power and cash by lighting my outdoor entertaining area using the high powered LED's I have on hand. The design had to meet certain requirements, including approval from my wife and a visually appealing appearance that could provide adequate light. The base was printed out of Bamboo PLA for a natural wood look that matches the outdoor space, while the rest was printed out of black PLA+. A filter made of glow-in-the-dark filament and clear PETG allowed me to experiment with different ideas. The cabling is Cat5 Cable with solid colors as positive and stripped colors as negative, isolating the controller from fans. The third version of the top features four mounting points for use with steel cable if I want a hanging effect.
