This mounting plate is shorter than originals. The out border comes done and is deeper in the water. In waves it is less likely to come out of the water. The optional hook in the back prevents the motor from snapping up when you go backward and gives more stability. You may have to modify this to fit your motor. This is a large print. Increase heat bed temperature to avoid warping. Use honeycomb for filling. This is a structural part! Use minimum 15 outer layers. Always secure the outboard motor with a rope to the boat!
