The local small-town police station has a dispatch area that serves both as a hub for emergency calls and a front desk for the public. This shared space is equipped with holding cells designed to temporarily detain individuals who have gotten into altercations or require a safe place to sober up. The cells are made of sturdy bars, providing a secure environment for those in need. Each cell comes complete with a bed, thin mattress, and basic amenities like a blanket, pillow, toilet, and sink in the corner. This setup is meant to provide a sense of comfort while also ensuring public safety. The station's interrogation rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art one-way windows and mirrors that allow police officers to observe suspects without being seen. These rooms play a crucial role in gathering information from individuals who have been brought in for questioning. In addition, the processing area is large enough to accommodate photography equipment used to document evidence or take mugshots of suspects. This space also serves as a holding area for those being processed through the system. Beyond these areas, you'll find an awaiting room where individuals are held until they're released or transported to another facility. The locker room is equipped with lockers assigned to police officers, where they can store their personal belongings, including clothing, shoes, and hygiene products.
