This 3D model was originally crafted using Sketchup 8 and then converted into all other 3D formats with seamless precision. Its native format is .skp, while 3ds Max scene was rendered with 3ds Max 2016 version, featuring Vray 3.00 capabilities. The set is one of the most striking examples of nineteenth-century religious architecture in Santa Fe, boasting exceptional historical significance and artistic merit. Originally built to replace two other, more precarious temples constructed during the eighteenth century, this new temple rose from the ashes after the transfer of the city began in 1650. Architect Juan Bautista Arnaldi skillfully oversaw the construction of this masterpiece between 1892 and 1905, incorporating timeless classical elements into its design. This grand set boasts a stark contrast between the humble profile of the convent and the majestic church in neo-classical Italian style. Its monumental scale, classicist language, and towering slender towers all contribute to its majestic appearance. Notable features include its 75-meter-long single nave covered by an elegant barrel vault, topped with an imposing dome on a unique drum structure. The interior exudes an air of academia, as intricate stained glass artworks depict pivotal scenes from the life of St. Dominic. Furthermore, four beautifully crafted confessionals carved from cedar are complemented by the iconic image of Jesus of Nazareth at the entrance. The presbytery proudly houses the tombs of notable provincial personalities. Interestingly, the area around the Convent retains its main cloister, carefully rebuilt between 1906 and 1912.
