Our First House
thingiverse
My husband and I purchased our very first home in the month of May, year two thousand fifteen. Inspired by the design of a model state capitol building that I happened to create on a whim, the idea struck me: why not make a miniature house for our residence? This ambitious project required about four or five hours from scratch, all designed and engineered using Tinkercad software. The regal lions adorning our tiny abode were courtesy of Lion by Skyblue (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:67828), while the streetlamp nearby came from Streetlamp by PrettySmallThings (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:15395). We're printing this small creation in a size that measures approximately three inches square and two inches tall; time will tell how it turns out. This might just be an idea that I could eventually turn into a business opportunity on my Etsy shop, custom-made 3D house ornaments for people to enjoy!
