Available sizes Medium – 1:1 of the actual size | Normal, Hollow & Pre-supported versions Description The most common Burgess Shale worm, Ottoia is a priapulid worm with a tooth-lined mouthpart (proboscis) that could be inverted into the trunk. Ottoia reached 15 cm in length; the smallest specimens – presumably juveniles, but identical to adults – were just 1 cm long. The worms are usually found curved into a U-shape, with their sediment-filled guts often visible running down the centre of the organism. Additional Details Print can be used with or without the base. Base is hollow to minimize the amount of resin used. Care should be taken when removing supports. Using a heat gun or a blow dryer is highly recommended.
