Otto+ with Arms - Tall and Matrix
thingiverse
Update now includes the Otto+arms libraries to install into Arduino IDE, along with three Otto+arm stretches from Hien Phan's examples for OttoDIY Extension for mBlock. This larger Otto+ features arms that easily fit components, and this one has a LED matrix. 3D Otto parts are available: 1. A rounded head with two types of bodies, each featuring an LED matrix on the inside or through a hole. 2. Three detachable hands that can hold items like wands. 3. Two types of legs: short (normal size) and tall. 4. The popular eye holder is at the bottom of the list. Improvements: Legs now have a thicker top, which makes attaching them to hip servos a tighter fit, preventing movement. You may need a file to open the slot where the servo horn goes through. Feet have been given a thicker base for better traction when Otto walks up and down. This advanced Otto+ with LED Matrix has been designed to work with OttodiyArms extension for mBlock. Hien Phan, creator of OttoDIY extension, is still working on it, but we hope to have it working soon. Note: Beginners are advised to start with OttoDIY (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1568652) by cparrapa and use the mBlock - OttoDIY extension to program, similar to Scratch.
