Otto DIY rotating head expansion

Upgrade the original Otto design with a slick 3D printed add-on allowing it to twist its head around. The general idea became clear as a first part of developing a brand new mode for Otto. In essence it would be a SUMOBATTLE mode where two Otto robots fight and push each other in order to get the opponent out of the battle zone boundaries and thus win the battle. So in order for a SUMO fighter to locate his opponent (other Otto SUMO fighter) it has to be able to swiftly search its environment. We found that the predefined moving sequences designed to turn Otto around its Z axis were too slow for an exciting and thrilling battle. That's why we decided to upgrade Otto with swiftly turning head.To complete the robot you will need to download and 3D print the Starter biped parts from here:Otto DIY | Download free STL model | Printables.comWe invested lots of time and resources to provide open source code, software and hardware, please support this project by just giving us a ❤ Like and share and you are welcome to be a part of this friendly community of robot builders, teachers and makers.
