I had a standing Ottlite with a broken mounting arm, attaching the lamp head to the support bars. That's when my trusty 3D printer came into play. I designed a replacement mounting arm using 3D Builder, an unlikely but effective tool. A trip to Lowes for some hardware was next, costing around $5 (I ended up buying more than I needed - no big deal). Now the Ottlite is stable and performing great.
