Here is my own version of the filament filter, made up of two identical pieces that mount symmetrically together with clips (the easiest way is to use a regular clip cut to size). One side can be left permanent as a hinge, while the other must be removable and used as a closure. The way to assemble it is quite obvious and I'm sure there are a thousand different ways to do it. The way to use it is the same as with the rest of filters, inside you put sponge or something equivalent (I've used a piece of dust mop). A few drops of mineral oil are poured in and the filament is passed through for cleaning and lubricating. The advantage of making it in two parts that open is that it's easier to pass the filament since there's no need to make shots between the input and output holes. Also, it's simpler to put oil evenly. That's it, I leave it here for public use.
