This female specimen was collected by T.N. Liversedge on February 12, 1967, in Mabua, Sefubi Pan, Botswana. Dr. Blaire Van Valkenburgh of the University of California Los Angeles made it available to the University of Texas High-Resolution X-ray CT Facility for scanning. The funding for this scan came from a National Science Foundation Digital Libraries Initiative grant to Dr. Timothy Rowe at The University of Texas at Austin, as well as from Dr. Blaire Van Valkenburgh herself.
