My updated direct drive extruder features a correct handedness for mounting, a major improvement over my initial version. I've also added a unique funnel to the arm where you can place a small sponge or cloth to clean the filament as it feeds in. Additionally, I've curved the bearing end of the arm slightly to enhance its grip on the extruder even further. With nylon filament and a sturdy spring, this direct drive system can run quietly while moving with ease. Quiet operation is assured thanks to a low noise setup.
