I created this 3D printed component that I call Other Battery Holder for Dongmingtuo x12 m2. I designed this 3D printed component to add another battery beyond the proprietary one that came with it. So, I conducted an experiment by installing a jst battery connector on the main circuit board of this quadcopter as shown in the photos where connections were made. To make these connections, I was successful with the wiring onto its main board. Now, I can use a non-proprietary battery and power the Drone without any issues. As a result, the Drone became slightly lighter. However, I had to design a battery holder to hold the non-proprietary battery. So, I designed this 3D printed component to accommodate that battery. Then, I flew it once again and was successful with the flight. If you wish to download this file based on your 3D printer's capabilities and skill level, set your 3D printer accordingly. Afterward, you will need a Dremel power tool or something similar, some sandpaper, super glue, and double-sided tape. The photos should give you an idea of how to assemble it and where to place the 3D printed component. You will also need a jst connector and the photo should show you where to install the battery connector on the main board, as well as a battery of your choice that can fit inside the battery holder.
