I created this adapter version because my previous design was too weak and snapped when printed vertically on my FDM printer. This version is meant to be printed horizontally, which results in a much stronger adapter when printed on FDM printers. The disadvantage of this version is that it needs to be glued together before use. I designed this so that it doesn't need any support for printing. I usually print such parts in ABS or ASA and use acetone for gluing. For easier alignment when gluing, I added two 3mm holes so that I could use short snippets of 3mm filament as alignment pins.
