This support ring fits perfectly within the build volume of a Makerbot Mini for 70mm ostomy bags. Attach a belt using any 1/2" strapping, along with your preferred tightening or connecting system. I utilized elastic strap, sewing, and velcro to secure it in place. To accommodate my waist, it has limited adjustability; however, you can use luggage strapping and connectors for added security or loop a bathrobe belt through the handles and tie a knot. Insert the bag through the hole, allowing the ring to exert pressure on the front of the plastic where the flexible bag meets the snap ring or wafer. This ensures even distribution of pressure around the stoma site, helping prevent surprises and providing compression if needed. If you experience herniation, refrain from using this support ring as excessive tightening may exacerbate the condition.
