Oster toaster/convection oven "Stay On" disabler
thingiverse
Fellow employees would continually turn the knob of our Oster Toaster / Convection oven (model TSSTTVRB05) past the point at which it defaulted to "Stay On" by mistake. Not only was this wasteful and produced a foul odor, but it probably compromised the appliance's safety too.\nTherefore I printed up a simple solution. Installing it is quite straightforward: simply remove the timer knob (which comes off easily), and then use the 2 mounting screws already in place to secure it firmly.\nBe mindful not to take both screws off at once, or you'll have to navigate around the appliance as the timer falls into the oven - so I recommend removing only one screw first and bending it out of the way to allow easy access to the other screw.\nThe printed piece was created using a MakerBot 2x with fast layer settings (0.3 mm), and grey ABS plastic.
