Osprey Reef Desk Lamp

I work on a non profit open source research ship, R/V Falkor, and we have been mapping the Great Barrier Reef and Coral Sea. I've taken some of that mapping data and turned it into a .stl, and then turned it into a desk lamp/showpiece. The lamp consists of Osprey Reef being the biggest, Shark Reef in the middle and Vema Reef being the smallest on the right.

Print instructions

Just two simple prints.

For the top I used 3 walls and 5% gyroid infill with no bottom layers to let the light disperse better.

For the bottom I went with more walls and 50% infill just to give it a bit of weight.

You will need some LEDs and feed your wires through the small hole in the back. Mine were very small so you might have to adjust the hole if your LEDs come with bigger wires. I used simple 5vdc USB powered LEDs.

I currently do not have a Prusa (yet) and have been using a ultimaker S5 on the vessel which is why I was not able to upload a proper G-code.
