Osmo Socket (Pocket stand/mount)
thingiverse
I was searching for a good tripod mount that would utilize a standard 1/4"-20 nut while still providing easy access to the USB-C port located at the bottom of my camera. The Pocket fits snugly into this Socket without needing to flex anything at the top of the mount, allowing me to hold it completely inverted and shake without losing grip. If you're concerned about grip, I recommend using a thin sheet of vinyl cling material along the back rear for extra security. Initially, I created one with a backward leaning angle for balance and ease of viewing, but it turned out that the DJI Osmo Pocket will not allow you to do a "motionlapse" timelapse series if the Osmo is not held perfectly upright. To attach your 1/4"-20 nut, simply insert it into the base from the Osmo side. The adapter's round base should sit flat on most tripod heads, but I added extra feet to provide leverage for twisting the mount on and off of the tripod head easily. These additional legs also help the adapter stand flat on a tabletop without toppling over, although I did not add height to keep the USB-C port clear. **Update:** To accommodate different 1/4"-20 nuts available in the market, I have created another variation. The two STLs with -11 in their name will fit a nut with an 11mm flat-to-flat dimension, while the others will fit a nut with a 10mm flat-to-flat dimension.
