I love my Osmo Pocket and always shoot timelapse for fun, capturing stunning videos that leave me breathless. However, I've encountered a major obstacle - the battery won't last more than 2.5 hours without external power, which means I need to recharge it often. That's why I designed this charging stand, allowing me to attach my Osmo Pocket to a tripod and insert an external power source through the USB3.1 Type C port for seamless long-lasting video capture. To build this project, you'll need to use my previously created USB3.1 Type C vertical Male to Right Angle Female PCB. You can download the detailed specifications, dimensions, and step file here: http://www.elabguy.com/datasheet/USB3.1-CMV-CF-V1A%20Rev1.0.pdf, http://www.elabguy.com/drawing/USB3.1-CMV-CF-V1A%20Drawing%20Rev1.0.pdf, and http://www.elabguy.com/datasheet/USB3.1-CMV-CF-V1A.step. The Osmo Pocket Charging Tripod mount is a breeze to assemble, requiring only two printed parts. Simply attach the PCB to the top part first, then push on the bottom cover. The 3/8" to 1/4" convert screw adapter can be easily screwed into the bottom hole, securing your tripod in place. Enjoy capturing stunning timelapse videos with your Osmo Pocket!
