Osmo Pocket Charging Stand
thingiverse
I love the Osmo Pocket, and I always enjoy shooting timelapse for fun. However, the battery won't last more than 2.5 hours without external power, and I always want to capture 3-5 hour timelapse videos. That's why I made this charging stand - so the Osomo Pocket can stand solid in motionlapse mode while I insert external power through the USB3.1 Type C port for long-lasting video capture. I designed a USB3.1 Type C vertical Male to Right Angle Female PCB in the past, and it works perfectly for this project. You can download the PCB details, dimensions, and step file here: http://www.elabguy.com/datasheet/USB3.1-CMV-CF-V1A%20Rev1.0.pdf, http://www.elabguy.com/drawing/USB3.1-CMV-CF-V1A%20Drawing%20Rev1.0.pdf, and http://www.elabguy.com/datasheet/USB3.1-CMV-CF-V1A.step. The Osmo Pocket Charging stand has only two printed parts and is incredibly easy to assemble. Simply attach the PCB to the top part first, then push the bottom cover into place. That's it - enjoy your new charging stand!
