Osmo Action TPU Cover

Here's a simple design for a protective cover that fits the DJI OSMO ACTION camera. This cover is designed to be printed without any support material, making it easy to produce using Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) technology and a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) filament. The cover consists of two main components: a top shell and a bottom base. The top shell provides protection for the camera's lens and electronics, while the bottom base serves as a mounting point for the camera. To print the top shell without support material, we can use a technique called "slicing." This involves dividing the 3D model into thin layers that can be printed one on top of the other. The printer will then create each layer separately, allowing us to avoid printing any overhanging features that might require support. To prepare the design for slicing, we need to ensure that the top shell has a flat bottom surface. This will allow the printer to start printing from the bottom up and build the feature upwards without any issues. Once the top shell is sliced and printed, we can move on to printing the bottom base. The bottom base should have a flat top surface to match the one on the top shell. We can also add some texture or pattern to the bottom base to provide additional grip for the camera. After both components are printed, we can assemble them together by snapping the top shell onto the bottom base. This will create a secure and protective cover for the DJI OSMO ACTION camera that's easy to produce and requires no support material during printing.
