OSM Toy ReMake
thingiverse
This is a remake of a desk toy I discovered on ThinkGeek years ago (OSM: Spatial Manipulation Toy http://www.thinkgeek.com/product/15dc ). Since they no longer sell it, I decided to create my own version. Enjoy. Clip together even numbers of the model (at least 6) to form a triangle or higher order polygons. Now you can rotate it in on itself by pushing the middle disks down while pulling the outer disks up. Print Settings Printer: Bukito Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Notes: I used supports to help keep the pins from sagging too much. You may be able to get these prints to work without a raft, but feel free to try it that way if you prefer. I found that using 1.5mm wall thickness eliminated the need for infill. Adjust as needed.
