Oskar's Cube

Oskar's Cube

This is a design I created of Oskar van Deventer's cubic maze puzzle, called "Oskar's Cube." This puzzle is somewhat rare, and I was unable to find a place to purchase it. As such, I decided to create a fully printable one. The puzzle is straightforward: Position the rods so each rod goes through either a circle or square. Then maneuver the rod through the maze to get all rods in the other indicated positions. (For example, if the rods start in the circle positions as shown in the picture, navigate them through the maze to end up with all rods in the squares.) Be aware that this puzzle is deceptively difficult! There are many steps and backtracking involved. If you need a solution, there's a PDF available in the downloads section. Printing is uncomplicated, but make sure to assemble the pieces correctly. I've provided photos for reference in the downloads section.
