Oscilloscope Stand
thingiverse
I bought a very inexpensive unbranded oscilloscope. It was a simple rectangular shape about 7.3x10cm and 2.2cm thick. It seems to work well, but it was so small and light it was hard to keep steady. Also, laying down flat made it difficult to see. In use, it took two hands to manage the probes, and one to hold the scope up so I could read it. That obviously wouldn't work. I started fondly remembering the "good old" days, when a small scope was about the size of a desktop computer case. *3D printer to the rescue!* A simple holder gave the scope a more manageable heft, and a stand for that holder, complete with a place to hold a probe, gave the tiny scope a useful place on the bench.
