Oscilloscope probe holder

Oscilloscope probe holder

When working with an oscilloscope, it can be tough to keep the probe in contact with small test points on a PCB for any extended period of time. One easy and super effective way to solve this problem is by using a scope probe holder that eliminates the need to manually hold the probe constantly. The extra weight (a 12mm steel rod) helps increase the touching force. I use a steel rod, but ideally, the weight should be made from lead or zinc. With a steel rod, the pressure force comes out to about 20g, which includes the weight of the probe itself. Adding a blue tag below the legs can also boost the stability of the probe holder even more. This is my first design that isn't perfect for 3D printing, but I'll post another version soon that's friendlier for 3D printing.
