Oscilloscope & Multimeter Probe Holder
thingiverse
I'm creating a custom holder for oscilloscope or multimeter probes that attaches securely to a shelf using wood screws, screwed in from the top or bottom. This design is an innovative remix of scarous' original concept, which I liked but couldn't adapt to thin shelves due to their limited thickness. In my case, the shelf was only 6.1mm thick. To adjust the design for different shelf thicknesses, simply scale up the model in your slicer by the corresponding factor (e.g., if your shelf is 10mm thick, use a 1.64 scale factor). For further customization of the shelf's thickness or screw diameter, I've included the design file in Blender. You can easily adjust the shelf thickness by scaling the cutout cube along the Z-axis (press S then Z), or scale the cutout cylinder along the XY plane (press S then ⇧+Z) for screw diameter adjustments. The design is mirrored along the X-axis, so any changes you make will be reflected in both holes at the same time. You can find these adjustment points on layer 2.
With this file you will be able to print Oscilloscope & Multimeter Probe Holder with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Oscilloscope & Multimeter Probe Holder.
