This pesky little lever always seems to snap or the kids inevitably devour it. The small knob on top of an oscillating fan that lets you shut off its oscillation when you pull it up, or activate full oscillation by pushing it down is quite annoying. The diameter of the stem hole is 6.5 mm; hopefully, that helps. I'm sure it will bring you relief from the heat just as it did for me.
