This innovative system comprises a central drum linked directly to an oscillating mechanism via a protective cover. As it operates, the rotational motion of the main drum is converted into rotational oscillation by a fixed cam that propels the cover back and forth. The oscillatory movement of the cover effectively prevents loose material from spilling out at critical angles; meanwhile, adjusting the position of the cam enables the regolith to be released from the bottom, resulting in an exceptionally high fill capacity.
