This project was created using Autodesk Inventor 2014, with animations made in the Inventor Studio module. The idea originated from http://507movement.com/mm_398.html. The mechanism accurately follows the source material; a ball bearing acts as a roller against a cam with three distinct peaks causing noticeable oscillation of the right wheel. Design Accelerator was used to form the cam shape, which was later edited by adding the other half of the channel and bottom. An early design file is included, allowing users to edit the cam using Design Accelerator by right-clicking "Disc Cam:1" in the browser and selecting "Edit with Design Accelerator." A picture, "Editing the Cam.jpg," demonstrates this process. After downloading parts and assembly, access Environments/Inventor Studio to customize animation and view results. Enjoy!
