Here are some initial findings from a photogrammetry scan of the Osaka subway stairs: The stairs' overall shape and dimensions can be reconstructed with moderate accuracy. The scan reveals a total of 15 flights, each consisting of 10-12 steps. From the photogrammetry data, we were able to extract information on stair riser height (average 14.5 cm), tread depth (average 24.5 cm), and angle of incline (average 35 degrees).
