Ortur Laser Master 2 Drag Chain Mounts
thingiverse
The cables of my Ortur Laser Master 2 would occasionally get caught on something so I designed some mounts to add 10x11mm drag chains. The X and Y stepper mounts simply slip over the stepper motors. The X axis chain is screwed its stepper mount and then to the Y stepper mount. The Y chain is screwed to its stepper mount then to an L-shaped in the front left corner. The L-bracket attaches to the underside of the extrusion with two t-nuts with the three holes for the chain towards the frame's corner. The Y support clips onto the drag chain and holds it parallel to the table. Hopefully the photos add some clarity. If I recall, I ordered two meters of drag chain (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08R1M9J2H/) and had some left over. Just make to check the laser's movement across its full range to ensure everything moves smoothly. If the drag chain is too short it will create too tight a bend...too long and it may hit the frame. None of the parts need support, but may need a brim depending on your printer / settings.
