All prints were done at 0.25 layer height, and the legs themselves feature a built-in tensioner that secures the belt perfectly. And you're right - it's exactly what you'd expect: you get to tighten it yourself! A major bonus with this upgrade is that the legs now completely encase the 20x40 profile, allowing for significant adjustments if needed to fit larger frames. However, if used with the original 20x40 profile, a considerable loss of usable area will occur. This design was implemented to enhance frame rigidity. The air assist is equipped with standard 5mm fishy wishy tubing. The Z adjuster boasts dual lockable features - simply pull back on the handle and it locks into place, then use the adjacent screw to completely secure the frame. It's a win-win situation! You'll notice that lots of M3 nuts and bolts are required for this upgrade, as it was designed with numerous captive parts for added strength and rigidity.
