Orthrus Extruder - a two-wheel extruder
thingiverse
Orthrus Extruder is a two-wheel direct drive extruder, it uses two feeding gears and two tension springs from two Titan extruders. The main idea of the design is to prevent from slipping of gear and filament, there are two gripping points on the extruder. I print a test model on CR6-SE, the print result is very pretty, no gear/filament slipping. https://www.reddit.com/r/Creality/comments/thtcx6/the_first_try_to_print_flexi_rex_with_150mms_on/ Test printing a Flexi Rex at 150mm/s, 0.28 layer height, total print time is 58m 9s, no filament grinding.
