The highly detailed 3D model of an exquisitely decorated orthostat 68 is now accessible from the Eastern passage of the Megalithic passage tomb at Knowth, a renowned site within the Brú na Bóinne World Heritage Site in Ireland. This ornate orthostat is strategically positioned on the right-hand side of the main passage, where it can be fully appreciated by all visitors. A multitude of arc or crescent motifs of varying sizes are skillfully depicted on the decorated orthostat, showcasing the exceptional craftsmanship of the ancient stonemasons who created this magnificent structure. The original object was meticulously recorded using the cutting-edge Artec EVA structured light hand scanner and then expertly processed using a combination of sophisticated software including Artec Studio, Geomagic, and 3DS Max.
