A highly detailed digital model of the elaborately decorated orthostat 54 is featured in this image. Located within the Eastern passage of the ancient Megalithic passage tomb at Knowth, a component of the Brú na Bóinne World Heritage Site in Ireland, the intricately designed orthostat takes center stage. Situated directly behind an engraved basin stone in the right recess of the eastern chamber, this elaborate design boasts several prominent motifs including lozenges, triangles, arcs, solar symbols and chevrons. The original object was meticulously captured using a state-of-the-art Artec EVA structured light hand scanner and subsequently processed through the advanced software applications of Artec Studio, Geomagic, and 3DS Max to create this incredibly accurate digital representation.
