THIS IS NOT A READY PROJECT TO PRINT - STILL IN PROGRESS - The body of the keyboard is heavily inspired on bm65 keyboard - I'm working on a hand made/ hand wired/ 3d printed ortholinear keyboard. It's just a hobby project and I wanted to share my progress here. I'll be including here all things I've done, so that u can share some thoughts and make it better. I've decided on a plate design, because it's easier to upgrade the sound of the keyboard. Of course there's more parts, more printing and a higher risk of parts not fitting together. edit1: all the files are done, there's still no usb hole and controller mount, because I didn't choose the controller yet so idk what port will it be. edit2: I've decided on teensy 2.0 ++, as far as I know there isn't any other cheap microcontroller with 32u2 nor 32u4 nor at90usb1286 chip (which is needed for making a firmware on https://kbfirmware.com), that has at least 20 i/o pins and a usable port. This one unfortunately has mini usb, but there's a shitload of miniusb to usb c adapters which I'm going to use. But before editing the stl file first I want to print the case and check if everything is fine, then probably buy the controller + adapter and make a cutout for the adapter and make it stay in place somehow. I didn't print it yet so I can't guarantee it's all going to fit, because I'm not experienced at all in using CADs, I'm probably going to print it in the next month and what I can say right now is that: with 100% infill on all the parts you're going to need -245g of filament -2655min - 44.25h of printing time (anycubic i3 mega 45mm/s speed 55mm/s infill speed) with 100% on the plate only and 60% on the rest (that's what I'm going to print} -233g of filament -2291min - 38.18h of printing time (same settings)
