ORTAS presents Wheel Rim no 85-86. Consisting of nine parts, main outer rim, side rim, tire, middle, screws and braking disc. Disc is made up of four components; two discs, metal balls inside the disc and braking mechanism. All these components make it easy to use and modify. Each part of the wheel is parented under the main outer rim. No joints exist between the parts so you can either keep them as they are or easily replace them according to your needs or game requirements. To facilitate modifications for you, we have included the Blend file. Similarly, disc components are also attached underneath the disc which means if needed, you could also make any changes to those specific parts. Using this wheel rim is easy; tire and other wheel parts are already tested in-game engines so their positions are all fixed. For incorporating it into your game just import fbx file. Place it into your car - done! In order to save you some trouble we've created left side wheel separately from the right side one. Left side wheels file will have all settings predefined while with second, that is the right, it will need no such effort as both its directions and positions are defined by default. In order for visual representations like preview images to be consistent in your game environment just raise metallic values on those parts which contain metals, thus ensuring the exact look of those wheels as visible in our showcase photos. Also note that, with every model or rim design from Ortas you also get several pre-applied materials inside them and those are available by default through fbx file. A variety of textures were used to achieve maximum visual clarity of the rims designed for more realistic gaming experience. As regards total polygons involved we've taken care to keep each wheel in around ten thousand fewer poly count then number shown against its type (for tires this value goes to almost one lac i.e 100,000 as already included in above statement regarding both). This approach aims at conserving system memory thus running efficiently across most computers or devices too.
