Reinventing a defunct drone's motorless mechanics to power an ornithopter framework is a worthwhile endeavor. I suspended my experiments with this mechanism due to apparent inefficiencies, having exhaustively tested various configurations featuring numerous (plastic bag) wings – the delta wing configuration proved to be the most promising in terms of thrust output versus energy expenditure.
