Ornithoper from Dune II 3D print model

There was something truly iconic about the Ornithopter from Dune II, the classic game that we've all loved. The vehicle, exclusively used by House Atreides, could zip around the battlemap with incredible speed, flapping its wings as it went. It left such a lasting impression on us, and so we knew we had to model one ourselves, bringing this beloved creature into real life. A big part of why this project stood out was that it brought back memories from the early days of our studio - remember our first big hit, the Windtrap? - a model from Dune II, located at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:127779, and still receiving plenty of attention to this day! It may have been one of our simplest creations yet, but its humble origins didn't stop it from getting the job done! This model boasts impressive detail, with hinges that allow its wings to be posed in multiple positions, all while being designed to match perfectly with 28mm miniatures. And when assembled, this beautiful piece comes out to around ~20 cm from nose to tail and features a staggering wingspan of about 45cm when fully extended. **Note:** This model is exclusively intended for personal use and must not be uploaded or resold in any form whatsoever.
