Here are some adjustments I made to my Ormerod 2 extruder: The extruder now features a pneumatic fitting, which is used to securely hold the Bowden tube. To ensure this new attachment holds firmly in place, the existing threads were replaced with a new M6 thread, resulting in a sleeker appearance that looks quite impressive when compared to the standard part. I found an ideal match on eBay for a relatively affordable price. When upgrading my Ormerod 2, I noticed one thing that gave me pause - a weak spot at the intersection of where the filament meets the pneumatic fitting and leaves it. In response, I beefed up this section from within to make sure it's robust enough. What struck me about the standard part was how quickly the extruder body would wear down due to constant filament interaction. I used PLA for the new parts, but not just any ordinary PLA - 50% infill to guarantee their structural integrity
