ORMEROD 2 BASIC ARRANGEMENT
thingiverse
I'm always experimenting with new components for my printer and plan on a complete overhaul at some point, so I thought it would be beneficial to know what was there initially and have a model to ensure new parts are likely to fit seamlessly. As a direct result, I created this basic arrangement model for the Ormerod 2 Version 528.4. It doesn't include all the bearings or hotend wiring since that wasn't its purpose. I'm not sure if it will be useful to anyone besides myself, but I thought I'd share it just in case others may find it helpful. UPDATE: I've recently noticed an error with the alignment of the Z-axis smooth rod's placement. Apologies for this mistake - it's extremely challenging to align the original STL files with 100% precision. I believe I have corrected the issue, and the SketchUp model has been updated accordingly. Since the STL file is relatively insignificant in my opinion, I didn't see much point in revising it.
