Ork Great Gargant 6mm Epic Scale Proxy model
thingiverse
This design draws inspiration from the classic Kev Adams 1990's era gargant, featuring a rounded belly and arm and shoulder-mounted weapons. Notable changes include relocating the feed to either side of the body instead of underneath, which enhances stability. The Buzz saw has been repositioned for greater movement range, while the belly gun mount has been revamped with a large mantlet that eliminates visibility issues through the model's midsection during games. A minor tweak widens the balcony on the back, allowing for infantry models to be added, but this should be done before gluing the top body to the mid-body. With modifications in place, the gargant has expanded slightly and is best mounted on a Games Workshop 80mm or Reaper Miniatures 75mm base. A printable base is provided as an alternative. Scaling up for Titanicus is theoretically possible at about 150% print size, but printing full-size for 40k might be too challenging without significant adjustments to the hull parts or access to an extremely large print bed. Additional weapons can be added from this selection; please message if a weapon has been overlooked. The complete design can be found on Thingiverse at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3196923.
