Increased the size of the cone slightly so it works better with SeeMeCNC spools, and designed a bracket that mounts tightly to a SeeMeCNC Orion's existing side panel. After upgrading my carriage on the machine, I had some spare 608zz's left over, so make sure you have those available for the cones. Metric components are hard to find in my area, and not wanting to order anything online, this is the list of parts I ended up with for the spool holder: one 5/16 x 6 carriage bolt (I would actually suggest a 6.5 in retrospect), six 5/16 flat washers, four 5/16-18 hex nuts, and one 5/16-18 wing nut. The order of assembly should be bolt / washer / mount / washer / nut / washer / cone / washer / nut / nut / washer / cone / washer / nut / wingnut. Tighten the nut/nut combination loose to the cone, and tighten hard into each other to prevent the cone from unthreading them as the filament unloads counter-clockwise. Do the same with the nut/wingnut combination, or you could just find reverse-threaded components... Printer Settings: SeeMeCNC, ORION Delta 3D Printer, no rafts, yes supports, 0.2 resolution, 30% infill, MatterControl "Line", set your slicer to print support everywhere for the bracket.
