This is a precision piezo orion Z sensor mount designed specifically for the Tronxy / Zonestar P802 printer, with potential compatibility also extended to Anet A8 derivatives. Quoted directly from the official source: The PrecisionPiezo Orion module sits between your extruder/carriage and hot end, providing a triggered signal when your nozzle touches the print bed. In rigorous testing, the Orion module has achieved repeatability of 0.005mm (5um) with a standard deviation of 0.003. The Orion module can be used on any printing surface, including Printbite, PEI, Buildtak, Glass, Aluminum, FR4, Lokbuild, and if you encounter a non-functional surface, please inform us. The PrecisionPiezo Orion module boasts several advantages: It is permanently fixed, eliminating the need for servos or deployment. No X or Y offsets are required; instead, your nozzle serves as the tool for probing. A standard endstop connector is used. This module can be utilized for Z_min endstops, auto bed leveling, and delta calibration. Easy configuration in firmware is available. It replaces inductive probes, IR probes, capacitive probes, FSR's, servo probes, and illuminates on probing. The module is very stiff, ensuring the nozzle remains firm. When I attempted to use the Orion sensor, a major issue arose with the layer fan, prompting me to seek an alternative hotend mount. Most modifications were made to the CarriageV3__AnetA8_E3Dv6_Mount_TNS file. The following changes were implemented: hotend_height was adjusted to 85 mm. thickness_backplate was changed to 8mm. x_offset_hotend was set to 8mm. The radius of the hotend mounting point was increased to 5.5mm. Fan holder offset in the z-direction was moved to 1.5mm. Fan holder offset in the x-direction was adjusted to -0.5mm. Fan holder offset in the y-direction was changed to -9mm. E3D mounting point was set to 18.5 instead of 13.75, as the Orion module requires extra clearance from the mounting point. Another 2 mm was added to the z_offset_fan_holder variable for FanHolder2 module. In the FanHolder2 module, bigger screw holes and "thicker" thickness + 6 (punching a hole in the 3D model) with a radius of 2.25 instead of 1.25 were implemented. Bigger ziptie slots were created by changing ZiptieHeight to 2.5mm from 1.5. The belt rightmost mounting points were moved by 0.2mm. This project is still in progress as I continue learning; this combination may not be the best, but it works for me. Pictures will be added later.
