Not a pro designer here, but I needed a drip tip that wouldn't break easily. My theory was that by anchoring it on the airflow control area instead of the top where the drip tip is, it would be less prone to breaking. Most other drip tips I've seen are just copies of the original design, which has its flaws. Tolerances are super tight, so you'll need to remove the airflow control o-ring first or risk tearing it. I put mine on right away after printing while it was still slightly pliable from the heat, and you might need to do the same. If that doesn't work, you can try soaking it in hot water to make it more flexible before putting it on your pod. So far, it seems pretty sturdy, but time will tell if it holds up. If I have issues with these, I might thicken the walls a bit to make them stronger, although that would likely cause some overhang over the pod.
