Here's another version of that idea - I've been collecting old badges and patches for years now, but there's one special badge that always caught my eye: the original shape AA badge cast in brass. It was from my personal collection, actually, so I had it on hand to work with. What really drew me in was its potential as a print design with a bronze filament - the rich color of the metal and the fine details just seemed tailor-made for an intricate 3D print.
