I've tried other minimalist Joy-Con grips on Thingiverse, but they didn't hold the Joy-Con controllers securely for long before damaging the plastic. The lock mechanism would often fail, allowing the Joy-Cons to slip out effortlessly. To address this issue, I designed a custom grip that utilizes the metal rails and M3 screws of the original Joy-Con grip included with the Nintendo Switch.
