Original Prusa MK2 style Octopi cover
pinshape
Recently upgraded my trusty Prusa i3 Plus to the sleek new MK2 model, and I knew I had to complement it with a custom Octopi cover that matched its cutting-edge style. To build this stylish cover, you'll need a few simple parts: two M3 hex nuts measuring 10mm in length, four M3 countersunk bolts also measuring 10mm, and two more M3 countersunk bolts with a longer length of 16mm. Any M3 hardware will do, as long as it fits snugly - aesthetics are everything here. First, securely fasten the Raspberry Pi to the bottom using four M3 x 10 bolts. You won't need nuts for this step, as the screws will create their own threads in the PCB mounting holes of the Raspberry Pi. Next, attach the top cover to the chassis with two sturdy M3 hex nut 10mm bolts. Make sure they're securely tightened to prevent any wobbling. Finally, secure the bottom cover with the Raspberry Pi mounted on top using two robust M3 countersunk 16mm screws. Your custom Octopi cover is now complete! To get started, simply connect your WiFi adapter, power source, and USB cable, and you'll be good to go. Enjoy the seamless integration of your new Prusa MK2 printer with your Raspberry Pi controller. Printer Settings: Printer: Original Prusa MK2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 200 um Infill: 20%
