I wanted LED lights for my Prusa MK2 and saw the options available. Although I adapted an existing idea, these parts are all designed by myself to allow for 4 separate LED boards to be used. The Z-Axis mounts come from the Original Prusa parts list and were modified for my needs. What makes mine even more unique is that the arms have hollow pathways to allow for the wiring of the SMD LED light boards I used. They can be purchased here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/5-X-Car-Festoon-T10-BA9S-White-LED-48SMD-Panel-Interior-Dome-Map-Light-Bulb-Lamp/301032417732?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649 I used the Prusa spare 12V terminals off of the PSU. The total draw from the 292 SMD LEDs is around 23.36 Watts. Then I mounted it to a switch on the back of the Prusa. I would like to credit Scott Smith's design as it was what spurred me on to make my own version: https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.prusamk2.com%2Fprusa-i3-mk2-led-light-brackets-and-mounts%2F&h=ATMWBVewx0UQ35EkHMMnP_1AkCZv61qGz4Zz3edicdrsa8hYuEpw0YGqTA33_6cBE4iZeynzdadgGA3S-0_WHfDa0gxID3UQbEOjQMdo7XSn8yv6kf-BkDDVGzQGYNvmm6Lg9DCb1Q 3mm Hardware was used for this. I am currently designing a switch mount as well so that these can be turned off when not in use.
